"Memory believes before knowing remembers. Believes longer than recollects, longer than knowing even wonders" -William Faulkner

I consider wine an art-the poetry of it, the stories, the families, how it transports and offers momentary time travel. For me, the relationship between wine and other arts-photography, writing, painting, sculpture-lies within the echo of the pause, as Pablo Neruda so beautifully intoned when he wrote of loving, 'secretly, between the shadow and the soul'.

Wine is more than a beverage to me. It is about family, generations, hard work, love, and emotion. It is to me an ode to expression and intellect; a veritable chameleon muse.
